The Other Roof by Clare Shaw
Clare Shaw’s first play was an allegory about global warming called Hothouses, it was performed by The Real People Theatre Company in York in 2006. The Glenn Miller Neurosis Programme was performed by Cardboard Dreams Productions in Barnes in 2008. Clare has also written novels her first one was The Mother and Daughter Diaries and was published in 2008. Last year, a work in progress - Parenting - had a rehearsed reading at the Pulse festival in Ipswich and also at the Mercury Theatre in Colchester. The Other Roof was performed in The First 20 Minutes back in January and was warmly received.
